Michael Hornacek

I am thankful to have been part of the Jennie Moore Elementary family since 2018. I have a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and a master’s in administration and supervision from the University of Phoenix. I’ve been an educator since 1997, having served ten years as a classroom teacher (3rd and 4th grade) and the remaining time as an administrator. I can’t wait to come to work every single day because each day is full of new opportunities to help make things better for teachers, parents and ESPECIALLY students!

My love for the Arts is a BIG part of why I’m so glad to be here at JME. I enjoy all things creative, including everything from writing/performing/recording music to visual art & design, audio production and performing in community theatre. Outside of school, my amazing wife Debbie and I enjoy living close to the ocean. We have two incredible adult children (Landon & Maggie), a sweet and wonderful daughter-in-law (Caitlyn) and an adorable and extremely active grandson (Cooper).
