Beth Jacobs
Ms. Jacobs recently served as assistant principal at Jennie Moore, where she played a key role in both the academic and daily operations of the school. She lead efforts to support students academically, behaviorally, and socially, while working closely with teachers to strengthen instruction through classroom support and professional learning.
Prior to her role as assistant principal, Ms. Jacobs also served as instructional coach at Jennie Moore, where she led literacy and math intervention efforts, analyzing student data and coordinating support for students who needed additional instruction. She also mentored first-year teachers, facilitated collaborative planning, and provided hands-on coaching to strengthen classroom instruction across the school.
Ms. Jacobs began her career at Jennie Moore as a kindergarten teacher, where she developed the school’s “Let’s READ at JME” early literacy intervention program to support foundational reading skills. She also served as a grade-level chair, supporting a team of 18 teachers, and brings deep expertise in literacy instruction through her Orton-Gillingham training and certification.
Ms. Jacobs holds a Master of Education in Elementary Administration and Supervision from The Citadel and a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Clemson University.
